Saturday, my son and I went to the beach. When we first got there, the clouds weren’t very inspiring, and it looked like we wouldn't be seeing a sunset at all.Â
But we stayed anyway, and enjoyed the afternoon! It was very nice out and not humid at all, which is odd for this time of year.
Somehow, as the sun started going down, everything shifted. The sky lit up in a way that felt completely unexpected—colors breaking through the clouds, the whole horizon turning into something way more beautiful than it looked at first.
It ended up being one of those quiet reminders that not everything shows its best right away.
This is a time-lapse I started, but then stopped because the colors began to peer through the clouds, and I wanted to capture those images more than do a time-lapse.Â
The clouds started to push forward and spread all around us!
Overall, it was a great evening!
