The Fourth of July fireworks at Magic Kingdom are always a spectacular experience, and this year was no exception.
Before the fireworks even began, the evening gave us a beautiful surprise. The sunset over the Seven Seas Lagoon was absolutely gorgeous, painting the sky in bold shades of red, pink, and purple.
Once darkness fell, the fireworks erupted high above Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon, their brilliant colors filling the sky and reflecting across the lagoon.
That said, I have to admit I was a little disappointed. With the United States celebrating its 250th anniversary, I was expecting Disney to do something extra special for this year's Fourth of July celebration, hence why I chose to watch from the TTC. I thought there might be a new finale, a unique patriotic tribute, or even a small preview of what they have planned for next year. Instead, it was the same Fourth of July fireworks show as it has been for the last fourteen years.
Even so, it was still a memorable evening. Between the stunning sunset and the impressive Disney fireworks spectacular, I left happy I had gone.
